When you choose to proceed through your motor insurance, FJW Recovery does not charge you directly for our accident recovery or storage service. We invoice the insurer and deal with any insurer payment dispute ourselves.
If you decide not to proceed through insurance, the agreed recovery and storage charges become your responsibility. We will explain the applicable terms before making arrangements.

Yes. Under our accident recovery policy, customers who proceed with an insurance claim do not pay us directly for the accident recovery or storage. We invoice and deal with the insurer ourselves. If you choose not to claim through insurance, the recovery and storage charges agreed with us become your responsibility.
What if the insurer disputes the recovery or storage invoice?
FJW Recovery handles that directly with the insurance company. If you continue with your insurance claim, we do not pass our recovery or storage invoice on to you simply because the insurer disputes or refuses payment.
When would I need to pay?
You become responsible for the recovery and storage charges agreed with us if you choose not to proceed through insurance. When you use our insurance-claim recovery service, we deal with the insurer directly.
Can you store my accident-damaged car?
Yes. We provide secure vehicle storage following accident recovery and manage the arrangements directly with the insurance company while the claim progresses. We will explain what happens to the vehicle after collection.
Can I call from the scene of an accident?
Yes. Call our 24/7 recovery number when you are in a safe position. We recover accident-damaged vehicles and can arrange storage. If emergency services are attending, follow their instructions and wait until they authorise vehicle removal.
What information should I have ready?
Tell us the accident location and registration, plus your insurer and claim details if you have them. If you have not yet reported the accident, you can still call us first to arrange recovery. Never put yourself at risk to take photographs or gather information.
